Boarding Northumberland ( Changing rooms & shower facilities )
Here at Northside we don’t just offer surfing lessons, we offer Stand up paddle boarding lessons ( We have changing & shower facilities for river SUPs ) & StandUpPaddle Surfing throughout Northumberland. You can choose from coastal tours or why not take a paddle up our local River here at Warkworth. We also have snorkeling equipment available for hire for those summer days, you won’t believe how clear the North Sea can get!
From exploring the hidden bays or traveling up and around Warkworth castle, the location of your experience is completely up to you.
SUP Lesson Agenda
- Once everyone is gathered at the specific meeting point (will differ depending on location of SUP lesson),
- Wetsuit fitting.
- Once on the beach/by the river, a 20 minute health and safety talk then demonstration.
- Followed 1 hour 40 minutes practical lesson in the water.
All you need to bring is:
- swimming costume/trunks
- towel
- Bottle of water
- packed lunch (not necessary)
Group sessions
- Minimum number of 2 people
- Maximum number of 16 to 3 instructors
